A new identity for Horizon Fund II
In 2025, Horizon raised its second fund.
With the new vehicle came a fresh look. We wanted something warm and dynamic that embodied the bold ideas we back. I managed design agency Altalogy to turn our vision into reality.

Hero images cover the entire screen width. Noisy, vibrant gradients are cut laterally to emphasize the horizon. Colors bleed as they extend beyond the line, symbolizing the journey of an outsider.
I wrote all copy for our site, highlighting our global reach, technical focus, and steadfast support of our founders. I also photographed the team headshots, which we brought to life with animated linework.
We’re software investors who partner with exceptional founders at the pre-seed and seed stages.
We believe generational companies are built by independent thinkers with bold, pioneering ideas.
We fund technical, product-obsessed leaders with extraordinary ambition.
We write checks of $250k to $1.5m and frequently follow on.
We seek out entrepreneurs doing their life’s work and stand by them through the entire journey.
We’re fiercely loyal to our portfolio and give them an unfair advantage with our support.
We take a contrarian approach to our work and bet on people doing the same.
We don’t focus on hype or what experts say—we look for true disruption.
We aren’t formulaic thinkers. We avoid limiting ourselves to particular theses, verticals, or founder profiles. We weigh potential over pedigree.
We search for the most
ambitious product visionaries.

Our redesigned logo is an abstract version of a horizon. It doubles as an outlier—the sort of rare, pioneering operator we’re always searching for.

Key visuals feature freehand illustrations and colorful blur effects, reminiscent of doodles and highlights found in notebooks.
With our brand reinvented, I designed and built the deck that we used to raise $50m. Below are select slides from the final presentation.
